The kids were more worried if we had mustard for sandwiches before we even got out of the gym. They forgot about it.
I thought it was a little closer than the final score indicated. We just have to make a few adjustments and hopefully the second time around it will be a little closer.
We did pretty much what we wanted to on offense. Their goalie did a real nice job though, we must have had about 50 shots against them.
They beat us to just about every puck. They have tremendous quickness; the kind you don't see on a lot of other teams. There are other teams with quick forwards, but (Dakota's) defenders are just as fast and it made it tough for us to get shots.
He's grown up as a player and a team leader. He played well on defense all day and still had the energy to get that last goal.
We've just been working hard in practice. (Goalie) Tyler (Herber) has come a long way in the net. He's our most improved player to this point.
Eli used to play defense. But we put him up there to give Ben a break.
They're a real good team. Right now, it looks like Owatonna and Dakota are the teams to beat in the league.
This was one of our better games. We've been working on getting to certain spots and tonight was the first night we were in the right spots.
