She showed incredible patience. She didn't get down on herself and was able to move from sixth to second on her last jump. She did what she had to do and came through when it counted. She also posted the fastest split for the 4 x 400-meter team.

We had a couple of young ladies running a little tired from previous races in the day. But we'll see, hopefully we can still get into nationals. The ladies have been doing a good job.

It has the reputation as a fast track. It's a top-of-the-line place and arguably the best in the Northeast. It's also nice to have on a cold or rainy day, just for practice.

She's got a few races to run and the long jump. So she'll be pretty tired when it's all over.

I'm surprised with how high the women finished.

We go into most races expecting to win. I know that can't happen all the time, and when it doesn't we deal with that. We have strong enough teams to win conference championships this year.

We have a couple of other opportunities to run fast and make strides with the New England Championships and the ECAC Championships coming up.

I was expecting our athletes to do their best and be competitive.

They made a lot of tactical errors in the race. They weren't in a good position for the break, but I'm optimistic for the rest of their season.
