We just played, in my opinion, horrible that time. Of course, we redeemed ourselves against Marietta the second time. If we play like we've been playing, we should at least be able to play with them.

We did what we wanted to do and we executed well until the final 2 1/2 minutes of the first half. We just started turning the ball over, and we just continued to make the same mistakes over and over again.

Our kids have played hard from the get-go, but they just didn't understand positioning very well. That's what we spent the most time on, playing the angles and being in the right position to make plays. That's been the biggest difference.

We started out in a match-up zone. But we've worked and worked and worked on our man defense, and we did an outstanding job with it after the first quarter. I think we got Murdock extremely frustrated, and we kept (Marietta's guards) pretty contained.
