"Robert "Rob" Scott" is an English former professional Association football/footballer and manager who is without a club.
As a player he was a defender (association football)/defender from 1992 to 2008, notably in the Football League for Sheffield United F.C./Sheffield United, Scarborough F.C./Scarborough, Northampton Town F.C./Northampton Town, Fulham F.C./Fulham, Carlisle United F.C./Carlisle United, Rotherham United F.C./Rotherham United, Oldham Athletic A.F.C./Oldham Athletic and Macclesfield Town F.C./Macclesfield Town. He also played in Non-league football for Sutton United F.C./Sutton United and Halifax Town A.F.C./Halifax Town. After retiring from the playing side of the sport in 2008 he became joint manager of Ilkeston Town F.C./Ilkeston Town along with former team mate Paul Hurst. The pair later took over Boston United F.C./Boston United before joining Grimsby in 2011.
