We were doing our best to get him here. It was wild. This is an unbelievable story.

It's not on Zygi. He's been apprised of everything going on in this organization. He hired people to run the business, and he would do anything to make us successful. This is a business/football decision. It's not fair to tag it on Zygi. If it was anybody's decision, it was mine.

We have a lot of respect for Seattle. This wasn't about trying to be antagonistic or anything like that. It's business.

At the end of the day, the Hutchinson situation created a lot more controversy than anticipated. I think it's in everybody's best interest to let it die and let the league handle the issue.

From a medical standpoint, this is a pain-threshold issue. This is not an issue of possible degenerative health. Matt is a warrior, and he's always given every ounce to this football team. ... [But] by making this decision, Matt left a lot of money on the table.

Obviously he's had some issues in the past. Of course we looked into everything, and it's something we're comfortable with. In this business, you win games with playmakers, and he's a great player.

Randy Moss is not for sale.

We felt pretty good that we were going to be able to get the player. We have a lot of respect for Seattle and their organization, and this wasn't meant to be antagonistic or anything like that. It's just business.

We've done our due diligence and we're comfortable with it.
