It's great, to be honest with you. The last three years down here, we've had to just kind of sweat it out. What's going to happen? Lose the first game, do you have to win the second? Whereas now, you're playing for two championships, in essence.

I thought that was a game we could have gone up by certainly at least two, maybe three (goals). But we couldn't get the puck in the net.

We came in here knowing we were in the NCAA Tournament. But it doesn't diminish our excitement about playing for a championship.

Teams have to have good seniors and they have to have multiple players contribute at this time of the year. We had that.

I really like the way we fought back after that first goal. There was no panic whatsoever and I just think they had a feeling the puck was going to go in.

The magnitude that this family has had on this program ... well, you could talk about them every day. I'm so happy for Drew because he's created his own identity here. His (offensive) numbers are growing, and as a defensive forward, there's nobody better.

He's not afraid to step forward and get it done, and it's a perfect scenario for us.

(We had) good chances and the puck started to go in for us. Perfect time of the year for that to start happening.

Their ability to kill penalties and our inability to be effective on the power play obviously were key factors.
