The Make Poverty History coalition came together for a special year of opportunity. The political decisions made would not have been made without their passionate commitment. If governments follow through on their promises, millions of lives that would have been lost could now be saved.

They would have been free to turn any public land into a home, including city center car parks and school playing fields.

We're going to experiment with different ad formats ... find out what they'll tolerate.

Looking at this, it's pitiful, but I know that we'll rebuild.

The competition for people will be very stiff.

Fragmentation is not what's going on. We have no intention now of lowering the pressure. Just because the campaign is ending, it's not the end of the game.

I believe we will rebuild every bit of it. It will be a struggle and there will be sacrifices, but we will rebuild.
