The vault went very well. It pulled us through. It's nice to see and we had half of the lineup doing new vaults. It was a great way to end the competition.

It can be a problem if you don't control it. Mark always talks about having controlled aggression. You have to be able to channel the energy. When that happens, sometimes it makes [the gymnasts] do things that you normally don't see them do.

We're really happy to have survived our first meet. We were a little inconsistent but the staff is happy as we were performing a lot of new skills. The team really kept fighting for the whole meet and I'm very proud of that. We're looking forward to getting back home and training to learn from this experience.

Auburn is a good team. But most of the teams ranked from 11 to 20 are pretty similar. It?s just a matter of who hits and Auburn has been hitting. We?re looking forward to the challenge of competing against them and seeing where we stack up.

We had a couple of falls on beam but both were on new skills that we've added to routines. We're disappointed with that but it is understandable. I think we can get by that and be better in the future.

The girls really enjoyed the great student section in Georgia. I know it made them eager to get in front of their home crowd.

I'd say about half of our team has seen this setup before. It's a little different look and, yes, we do have some experience with it but it's a different environment. We've competed well in the last five meets though and we're going in well prepared and on a high note. I can't wait to see what we can do.

I was very impressed with Cassie today. She hit on all four events and it's nice to see her do that.

There's an air of maturity this year. Everyone is very supportive of each other and we have been doing a lot of the little things right so far.
