We discussed the possibility of the grandmother starting to have visitation with the children. We are setting up a timetable to arrange these visits.

Right now, we need to give those kids a break and get them back into a loving home.

I think it takes a tremendous amount of chutzpah to set up a fund after he killed the child. I think without consulting the family, such behavior is, at the very least, in poor taste.
