It actually missed every single major hub airport in the United States, at least a direct hit that is. As a result, the system was not damaged that much as far as passenger traffic throughout the rest of the United States.

You can expect this to go much wider than just the Atlantic Seaboard. You will start to see delays as far west as Los Angeles, California, as we go later into the day, as cancellations become more frequent.

The western half of the United States isn't even worth talking about, ... They're having a great day.

While flight delays certainly occur all year long, winter weather can increase their likelihood.
