I'm very happy to report we have good, solid data that will allow us to . . .start removing wreckage from the site much earlier than we would have anticipated.

We don't want to cause any more psychological damage to that individual until ... we have been assured that he is capable of talking to us.

We have indications that he did land perhaps a bit long on the runway.

The engines are in fairly good shape considering the fire damage.

These guys were doing 150 [knots] and visibility was severely reduced.

There are quite a few witnesses who say they observed the aircraft halfway down the runway, longer than normal and longer than usual for this type of aircraft.

We are going to look at all aspects of this accident - weather is one of them, aircraft performance is another one. An accident seldom happens as a result of one cause.

We have to get it right. If we get it wrong, they're going to continue to happen.

It tracked nicely down the runway, except it didn't stop.
