"Quinton Young" is a former Scotland/Scottish football player. He is best known for his time with Rangers F.C./Rangers.

Young started his career at local side Ayr United F.C./Ayr United in 1969 before moving to England/English team Coventry City F.C./Coventry City two years later. After two season in England he moved to Ibrox, Glasgow/Ibrox. He spent three seasons at Rangers F.C./Rangers and played both legs of the first ever European Super Cup against Ajax Amsterdam. He scored for Rangers F.C/Rangers in the second leg in Amsterdam albeit Rangers still lost the match 3-2 and the tie 6-3 on aggregate.

Young left Rangers F.C./Rangers acrimoniously after a fall out with then manager Jock Wallace, Jr./Jock Wallace. After requesting a meeting with Wallace because he was unhappy about not being in the first team, an argument ensued and Young was given a free transfer. He subsequently joined East Fife F.C./East Fife in 1976.

We wanted to win the conference, and even though we didn't do that we still have a lot to prove. We're heading up there with a swagger.

My nerves were bad because I wanted to win that game so bad. It felt good to hit those threes.

We have the swagger to prove to the conference that we're good enough to win it. We feel like we can be the Duke of the mid-majors.

We had jitters in the first half. We were worried about messing up.

We like the attention, because it brings recognition to the school. When I tell people I go to FAU, people used to say, 'Where's that?' But now because of coach Doherty and getting on ESPN2 and all that, they know. We get excited about that because we work as hard as Duke and we want people to see that.
