I might be playing a lot more on some of the teams we play against, but I'd never trade it. It's about the people you're with. That is what makes it worthwhile. I'm making friends for life.

I didn't know if I wanted to make the commitment. I prayed about it, but I didn't know if God wanted me to go that route. My parents were saying, 'Go for it.' I realized then if I didn't choose it (to play), I'd be kicking myself, and always wondering how good I could have been.

It was my first dunk in college. It was unbelievable. But for me, scoring is just a bonus. I couldn't care less, as long as we win.

That summer, Coach Jackson said the guys liked having me around, and I was invited to come out for the team.
