Not only do they get to learn music and rhythms, but they got to learn about culture. Even if they are younger, they were interested and wanted to learn. It was a lot of fun and the feedback from the parents was amazing. These are songs that wake up the whole soul.

All of the songs have African rhythms and movement. The kids were dancing. Our second grade choir was used for singing as they played the instruments. It sounded really cool.

I like the program because the kids get to see something different. Vince was so great with the kids and they miss him. It's a well coordinated program. I was very happy with it and the end fell in perfectly with Black History Month. I just loved doing the show, with the kids playing the instruments.
