Savy is the best player in this league ? hands down. He gets chances almost every night. He's pretty much faster than everybody out there. For everything to be going in for him is great. It couldn't happen to a better guy. Hopefully, he didn't use them all up tonight and he's saving some left in the tank.

I go down pretty well on every shot. I always will. It's percentages. I think five of those seven shots grazed me. It's a game of inches. If it happens the other way, it hits me and goes over the glass.

Ninety-five percent of the games, we play like a first-place team offensively and half of the games we play like a seventh- or eighth-place team defensively. ... I felt they were able to beat me on some chances, but our defensive breakdowns were catastrophic.

I think a lot of teams come out really gunning for us and we're a little lackadaisical. We need to stop that in the second half. We need to jump out to a 2-nothing lead early or at least keep it 0-0.

I was upset and I let it vent. In actuality, if anyone is at fault it's me. Our defense broke down, but I'm capable of making those saves and I didn't. I talked to the boys about (the comments) and they said it's all right, don't worry about it. It's a big deal, but I hope we're past it.

It's gigantic. A lot of guys can use that extra week.

To me, he's the epitome of a great athlete. He gets these injuries because he plays so hard. I'm always skeptical of guys who don't have an injury here and there because if you're paying the price every night those things are going to happen. Chris gives 100 percent every night.

(Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April.
