"Phil Fox" is an United States/American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Fox played four years (2007-2011) of NCAA college hockey with the Northern Michigan Wildcats men's ice hockey team.

On February 22, 2013, after nearly two seasons in the CHL, Fox made his American Hockey League debut playing with the Houston Aeros (1994–2013)/Houston Aeros.

Fox left the Brahmas after his two seasons to join CHL rival the Allen Americans on June 27, 2013.

We're used to local control where local boards of education write curriculum, they determine opening and closing dates, they determine the holidays and so on.

It's hard on a program to develop like that.

It's amazing, I guess, to sit there and think about it being done that quickly. We weren't expecting it that quick, but it happened. A lot of people in the community helped.

It's just good for the kids. I think they enjoy it. It gives the girls a chance to be more like some of the boys' (baseball) games, getting to play at night. It has created a little bit of excitement for the girls.

This has been a lot better, because you know when you go out there, you're going to play your full game. It's a lot more relaxed. And even on practice days, we don't have to hurry up. We don't always have to start right after school.
