From my estimation, progress is being made. We are on track for offering our contract tomorrow.

Boeing is delighted that DBA has announced its selection of the next-generation 737 to replace its fleet of 737 classics, ... The 737's schedule reliability makes it the perfect airplane for high-frequency, short-haul point-to-point routes within Germany and to other European destinations.

All the major economic issues remain on the table. We're not going to the table with an answer to any of these issues. We have not wanted a strike. There are no winners in a strike.

Having said that, the verdict for the company does not mean these employees were wrong to express their concerns. It's important for employees to feel that their concerns are addressed through meaningful action.

They are obviously one of the premier airlines in the world and obviously have been a very good customer for Boeing and have operated a number of our aircraft.

The company felt strongly that its promotion processes are fair, and we are very pleased that the jury agreed.

If necessary, however, Boeing is prepared to defend its positions vigorously, and believes it will ultimately prevail.

The process, while moving slower, is continuing. We are striving to make some deliveries in the coming days.

The facilities involved are those associated to pre-merger Boeing. The major ones were the Puget Sound, Wichita and Philadelphia facilities.
