We weren't ready for the first 20 minutes, and when that happens in this league you're going to get beat. It's a tough break, but it's a lesson for us.

We've got to find a way to get on a winning streak. This team is not a mediocre team, but so far we've been mediocre. We can't be satisfied with that.

It's a big honor to be on the team and represent my country.

The strategy is always the same; you have to stop the puck. We played shootouts in the AHL. You're already in the game and you're already calm, so it's not too bad.

I haven't been doing anything different. I'm doing the same things, and still working hard in practices, and whenever I get a chance to play, I want to deserve my chance. So I play well, and hopefully Coach will trust me.

I'm pretty sure every goalie would like to be a starter. I'm just thinking about helping my country get as far as we can.

They don't try to put too much pressure on me, because it's not healthy. But I was lucky a couple of times, and the team played really good in front of me, and it's a credit to them.

We played shootouts in the AHL [where he played last season]. The strategy is always the same. You have to stop the puck. You're already in the game. You're already calm, so it's not that bad. I like shootouts, but I can't say that about my performance tonight.

I have to take the positives out of this game.
