Grand Isle is a town very much like Greencastle. Both have about the same population. Both are hardworking communities with strong values.

We'd love to have a convoy of trucks. But, we're just asking the community to do whatever they can to help in anyway they can.

I'd love to see the town pull together. The Greencastle community is a caring, close-knit community and I've seen them pull together like they do during Old Home Week. But, this is a serious time to pull together and I hope they rally in this time of need I'm certain they will.

There's no commitment at this point by either party, but it's the necessary first big step to identifying that this is the personnel, this is the equipment and a pretty good picture of what it's going to cost to establish a joint police force.
