We had some time to work up some leads independent from the DNA, we wanted to try to place him in Santa Barbara, place him with the victim, and re-examine the case.

It is very unusual for a suspect to come in, march right through he doors brandishing a handgun and order everyone to the ground. That's what we call a takeover robbery, where he takes control of everything going on within the four walls of the bank, take his cash and flee.

There are times in the evening when there is just one or two women employees, no police officers available in the building. So if a suspect came in with a weapon or firearm, our employees are very vulnerable to that type of situation.
