We've received thousands of requests from all over the area, asking us to go in and look for their pets.

I didn't play my best today. I wasn't striking the ball as well as I would have liked to, and I struggled with my putting.

Yesterday, for example, there was a woman there who didn`t want to abandon her pets and had them all in a shopping cart, ... She finally collapsed from exhaustion and was crying out when she was picked up and taken to a hospital leaving her animals on the street. Why can`t we just cross the border into St. Bernard Parish and collect those animals?

They need fluids, vet care and have to get out of the heat. Things are getting desperate.

I had no idea it was going to be like this.

You always want to give yourself a chance to win. I did my best to keep in it until the end, but I left a lot of shots on the course.

The [parish] took the full force of the storm surge, so there was a significant loss of [human] life, plus a fuel spill from a refinery.

As smart and as good as we are on many things, we've been so poorly organized on this effort. It's tragic. It's astonishing how little activity is happening in there for animals.

We were able to get through [unofficially] earlier with the military and found animals alive. There is a good [animal] survival rate.
