Coach (Jim) Mora told us he didn't know we are. He was right. It was not a representative effort of what we pride ourselves in as a team.

We have no idea who he was with, but we'd like to know.

The old plan had no preservation issues built into it.

We still have to get all the permits. Construction is more than a year away.

We have a lot of guys on this defense who play with a passion, so adding another one is great. The more the merrier. He's got such a positive approach. He not only tells us we're going to win, he tells the other team we're going to win. He loves to run his mouth. I do a little of that myself, but he does it even more. [Jones is] the best tackle in the game, hands down. A lot of offensive tackles are good at one thing, like pass protection. But what makes him better than anyone else is you've got to bring your 'A' game against his run-blocking, too. He has no weaknesses. You've got to bring it every snap against him.

We finally got the gang back together. It was important for us to play together for a little bit leading into the regular season. We were practicing all week together as a unit, and I think that was good for us. We're looking to raise it up another level heading into next week.
