She's really confident up there. You can tell she really believes she's going to get a hit.

They know what needs to be done. We just need a better effort in all three parts of the game.

The three-run home run gave us a big boost and that makes everyone else relax.

She's a fighter and I think she did a great job today. I was really happy to see her get out of that.

We're trying to take one game at a time and stay positive. And step out on the field and try to play three parts of the game.

I think it's just having the opportunity to play. She missed a lot of the beginning of the year with an injury. I'm sure she was hungry to play.

We tried the suicide [squeeze]. I put the signal on before the rain came, and then we had the little break. We tried [the play when play resumed] but it didn't work, and then we got the base hit.

She threw really well today. I think the more she succeeds, the more confident she gets, and the stronger she's going to be when she's out on the mound.

[Yard was] fabulous. She had a really good game. I think we, me included, have a good combination here. You have to stay with what wins for you.
