We wanted a single point of contact to record all incoming or outgoing correspondence related to a particular sales opportunity, in a way that everyone had access to exactly the same information. We also wanted a solution that enabled us to travel with the most current, up-to-date sales information available.

With the sales correspondence trail confined to an individual salesperson?s Outlook or paper-based diary, if they were out of the office or in another time zone it was nearly impossible for anyone else to address an incoming request from one of their clients.
