Matt changed how he mentally approached matches after the regional tournament, and he did a great job today. He's in a position so many wrestlers can only dream of.

It says a lot about David's desire that he was been able to place sixth for being so banged up.

It?s really tough for a guy to be able to compete that hard and that consistently throughout four seasons like he has. Being able to even get in 30 matches in a year is amazing because not everyone can do that ... the body is just not that durable.

Overall, we did a pretty good job today. Dana is running away with it (the tournament), but we have a great chance to bring home a (top three) trophy, which was our goal coming in.

In most other years, Rick probably would have won a title, but he ran into a Division I-caliber performer in Parks. Rick didn't back down, and he gave it everything he had, and I'm very proud of how he competed against a very gifted athlete.

David had one of the best two-minute periods I've seen. It truly was an awesome performance, and he now has a good shot (at winning a title).

Story?s pin was huge. He came out with a lot of energy and really set the tone for the upper weights.

Jimmy suffered a big psychological blow by losing in the semifinals, but he's a great leader who refused to quit. He showed a lot of character by coming back to take third.

That was an impressive team we wrestled tonight. They?re a legitimate, well-coached Division I program. They showed us a couple of weaknesses we need to address before (the NAIA regional tournament) next week.
