Bryan is such an imaginative coach. He's developed some neat schemes.
He was calm, made the right reads. Tom directed the team well and was a true leader out there.
We owe the community a debt of gratitude for what it did for this school. This field is great now, and it puts us in a class of schools that have elite facilities.
I think we were too juiced. But our attitude was great and we knew Lake Forest would not quit, even after we had built the kind of lead we had.
A lot of the win had to do with our senior leadership. We needed that. We made a lot of silly mistakes in the first half: guys falling down, guys not taking advantage of holes that were there (along the line of scrimmage).
They'll throw the ball all over the field. It's a good team for us to see early.
Matt is smart, never gets rattled. And he's an excellent athlete. Tom? He's the kind of player you don't keep off the field, on both sides of the ball. He can run and catch, too. Right now, he could coach, because he knows so much about what we're trying to do.
