Those two have been bad picks. The Saints' early-round picks just haven't lived up to expectations under this staff.

That was pretty high on the Richter scale ? I'd say it's a nine as far as how it impacted the draft. It definitely affects what the top teams are doing. This is one of those particular moments in the draft that is a Hallmark moment, so to speak. It rearranges things pretty strongly.

Patrick Willis, man, if he had come out, he would've been a pretty high pick. But he wasn't assured of being a first-round pick and he's coming off the injury. He did the smart thing and he'll be one of the top players, not only in the (Southeastern Conference), but in the country.

He put himself among those premier players at the combine. Obviously he's fast, but he does everything else right too. He's really smooth turning for the ball, and he's made some plays.

I don't know what they've got in the water up there, but it's good. It's an unusual concentration of talent, that's for sure.
