I think any time you take a position like here at Florida, there's pressure on you. There's pressure on me, there's pressure on (quarterback) Chris (Leak). There's pressure on all of us. We have to produce.

We think coach Meyer is going to be the future. What he demands from us is a lot of responsibility, a lot of time. What he's going to reward us with is a lot of wins. That's a fair trade in my book.

You don't realize how special it is until it's gone.

I don't know, but that is what we have five more practices for. Right now, we just know that we have to improve. I think there was a lot of improvement from game 1 to game 2, but we'll have to play a lot better in game 3.

We know that football isn't always life. We've learned that lesson.

I've been here a long time, and that was a great thing. We've got the best student body in America, and I really enjoyed that.

It has been tough from the first day we got here. But what we're trying to do for the young guys is to show them what it was like when we got here, what the level of expectations was like.

Coach Meyer has prepared us, but on Saturday he can only do so much. It's our show.

He is growing up, maturing in front of everybody's eyes.
