The islands is the region we're hearing the best reports from. They're getting fish up to 20 pounds and they seem to be scattered throughout the islands.

It looks like we'll continue to see scattered snow showers in the Park, Gore and Flat Tops ranges all the way through next Thursday and Friday.

This pattern looks like it will continue well into next week.

Trout have been fairly decent in Lake Stevens [in Snohomish County]. Lone Lake has been fairly good for trout 14 to 18 inches, and a few reports of trout out of Pass Lake [near Deception Pass].

If this had been December or January, it would have been really frigid.

Basically, we're hoping the rain and snowmelt will subside enough to get the middle and lower rivers back in shape so we don't have to fish those terminal areas any longer. Hopefully we'll have some wild fish to catch and release.
