We started to do a lot of the things today that we've been working on. We need to continue to do those things in each game and keep improving so we're at our peak come playoff time. Derek Graham possibly had his best game of the year with two goals and an assist.
We played solid up and down the field. Our defense recorded their fifth shutout of the season. Stewart is starting to step it up, which is great to see.
We gave a better effort in the second half and put the ball on net much better today.
After the first 15 minutes we settled down and started to pass the ball and play well.
I thought the team started out strong for their first game. I hope it will keep going from here.
We played well together as a team.
Our sweeper Alex Tucker really stood out in the back field and Derek Graham played his best game of the season as a striker, he was all over the place.
Joey jumping up about eight feet and heading that one in was a great effort. He was just busting to get in there.
