It was a completely different time for me. Now, the children are all grown ... They are all starting their families and well into their own lives. I thought if I was ever going to college, this would be the time to do it.

For so long GW focused on services for undergraduate students, (but) all along we always had more grad students. We had lost sight of meeting their needs.

I was just feeling good about myself, so I turned my head and gave them the old tongue trick.

I would hope that as we go through the political process, the referendum and the next set of elections in December, it will become clear how secure the political machinery in Iraq is becoming.

I was just really drawn to the campus, and to the environment we have here.

There is, in my view, a nice line to draw between what could be described as 'ill-disciplined celebratory fire' and mischievous fire, which is where I suspect we are at the moment.

I have no doubt that, provided we can keep the training and the security sector reform going, and providing some of the reconstruction will continue at the present rate, we'll reach a point where we can see an Iraq that is self-governing, providing its own security and has a democracy of the form that the Iraqis want.

You could saw off both of her arms, and she would still want to compete. She is just that kind of athlete. There is no mountain that's too high for her. She will come out and give everything she has.
