While discussions continue with the district, we have not received any formal proposals and therefore would not have anything to sign off on.

By making more state support available, in many cases it has been extremely helpful to some of these school districts.

It seems like (the mistake) happened, was not ignored, and resolved immediately.

We know how our school districts struggle with finances. Obviously if there is greater (financial) support (from the state), they're going to have a better performance as long as they try to work within a budget and framework.

It would seem that if they're using an employee compensated by taxpayers to answer questions about the campaign, that may be on the other side of that fine line of the law.

It's a matter of how do we get there. We're very optimistic that this will be in place this coming school year.
