I tell you what, it's a lot more fun playing than it is standing around on the sideline watching people play. It was worth it.

It's a lot more fun to run block than it is to pass block, because pass blocking you're kind of sitting back there letting the guys run right at you. Run blocks, you're kind of taking more of the initiative. It was fun.

That's kind of your fear, that something like that will happen. It's just part of the game.

I would love to have that run-and-gun offense here and I think the guys we have would be really good at it. I'd also like a guy who could recruit the type of players that would work well in that offense and work well with the guys already here.

Now it's my turn to start, and I am going to try to fill the (previous lineman's) shoes. There is more pressure because we don't want to be the senior class that let coach (Barry) Alvarez down in his last season with Wisconsin.

College football is a whole new level. In high school I was a bigger kid and that made it easier to be successful, but here everybody is the same size.

In high school the defenses don't move too much, but in college they are everywhere. Playing here is a big challenge both physically and mentally.
