Worship here is very joyful. Our reputation is that of a very friendly, welcoming community.

Our success as a parish community is not due to any single leader, but to the entire staff here and the members of the parish and their involvement.

It is still a small number of churches. But the percentage has doubled in 10 years, showing this (position) to be a more common solution to the priest shortage in areas.

I speak to the congregation at the end of every Mass, and I mentioned that we need to follow the teaching on Jesus Christ like the members of the choir follow Molly. They never take their eyes off her. They are a community within a community.

In the past, this role was common in areas of smaller population, where priest shortage was more prevalent. But now you are starting to see this role in heavier populated areas.
