Structural engineers investigating this morning's incident have confirmed that this is an isolated situation that has not occurred anywhere else on site.

This has not affected the structure of the roof, or the stadium, neither of which has moved. At this point we believe this could be a minor incident.

The remainder of the site is now safe. The workforce will be returning to all other areas from tomorrow morning.

[Last summer, when asked if Wembley Stadium would be ready to host this years FA Cup Final] I will definitely be taking my seat at Wembley Stadium on 13th May.

Design change is an ongoing process and this is a material risk [to the stadium's effective completion] in our opinion.

We have 3,500 guys out there putting a huge amount of pressure on the contractors to drive the job over the line. There's still a risk, we are managing it, but there may be other contractors out there that might not see it through.

If we had our time again we would manage differently the significance of May 13; we'd want to finish a great stadium.
