If I had done my job better of preparing these guys, we would have done better. But (Freedom's) soccer, well, wasn't really soccer. They had to rely on free kicks and throw-ins. And for us to lose to a team that plays that type of soccer is very disappointing.

I think they're good teams. Being inconsistent doesn't mean they're bad teams. We're going to prepare like they're good teams.

We're not limited in any way at all. I would say half my team can play different positions. Our strong suit is our versatility and we've got so many players on the point sheet.

I was very confident that we were the only team in the region that could give them a game.

We're a far better team. We'd played and beat better teams than that.

There was no rhythm to the game.

He's going to be one sore puppy (today). (This) was his first game back and he almost played every minute. He stepped up.

We had chance after chance, and as opportunities kept presenting themselves, we kept ourselves composed. I didn't think the game would come down so close, but this is district soccer, so anything can happen.
