Given the seriousness of the allegations, the National Investigations Service, our major crimes unit, followed up, which resulted in the charges being laid.
It wasn't pretty. I never thought I'd be in that position, especially with my family on board.
The individual was arrested and charged after an investigation that had gone on for some weeks, in relation to allegations that are 30 years old. The allegations and the charges now relate to incidents that are believed to involve two young children.
No conclusions have been reached. It's an ongoing investigation. We'll look at all possibilities and we hope at some point we can come to some conclusion.
It was a good start to the tournament. I think we could have played a little better but we can build on what we did today.
I'm really ecstatic that I have this opportunity. I'm looking forward to working with and learning from Mr. Lee.
But we never thought they would actually have to use them.
