I would do it if there was no one in here. It's more fun for me. I used to do it when I was a little kid, in the back yard in the summertime. I would go out there all day without anyone in the stands.

My velocity was back up, which I was happy to see that. I was getting ground balls, which was nice to see.

I knew I had to settle down. I knew we wouldn't score a lot off Burnett.

He just said that I had bad technique and I was going to get hurt. There's no fine. If I do it again, there will be a fine.

They didn't pay him $55 million for nothing. I knew I had to settle down to give our team a chance.

It's fun going out there, but I see the point if I go out there and get hurt, it's going to be a big loss for this team. So I don't want to get hurt and screw our chances up.

That was huge especially with (Mike) Sweeney on deck. He's hit me pretty well. That's why I kind of gave a little fist pump after I picked him off. If you make a mistake to Sweeney, he's going to hit the ball out of the park and would be a tie game. That is one of the big points of the game.

[Williams] is afraid I'm going to get hurt. He said there's no fine, but if I do it again, there will be a fine. It's only once in a blue moon you get to do that anyway, so it's not like it's an everyday thing they're taking away from us. I'd do it if there was no one in here. I did it when I was a little kid in my backyard during the summertime.

Toughest [lineup] I've faced. Hopefully, if it comes down to the playoffs, I can get my revenge.
