There are differences between what the driver said happened and what the guys said happened and because they'd been drinking, they are not as reliable as witnesses as he is.
There is no real explanation as to what happened and we feel that a coroner's inquest, how we understand it, is something that would allow for re-enactment.
Many people have questioned what happened. At least this will give us some support to have a different decision, to have an inquest.
He's saying he didn't see her, he didn't intentionally run her over and he had no idea she was attached to his vehicle.
What we understand is that the criminal burden of proof is extensive and they can't prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he knew he was dragging someone. We are feeling a sense of loss, an indignity once again.
