I would have been happier to get the spot outright, but everyone is going so good, so it was the fairest way of doing it.

I was just charging and came up a little short. I can take something out of it because I did ski really well in sections. It was just two big mistakes at the top that cost me.

I think it's great, personally. Now everyone's got to perform. It's another level of intensity. Everyone is kind of picking it up.

To come (in), the first training run, and put smack down like that, that scares everybody. If you're that confident there's no reason to try and slow down.

He knows he's got a leg up. He'll be more rested for tomorrow. I think it was a good move.

I feel a little disappointed but I skied pretty well. I made two mistakes at the top, and like everybody on this course, I couldn't make that up.

It was a good season on the national level, but I'm ready for bigger and better things.

It was a big opportunity for me but now that it's gone I'm going back to normal life and start racing again. I'm still in a recovery (from injury) season and I'm getting better and better. I guess I'll gear up for U.S. Nationals as my next big race.

Things are lagging a little bit in the village. Walkways are not finished and there's carpeting over some muddy areas.
