It didn't hurt that he made a lot of shots. It didn't hurt that he's a great ball mover. It didn't hurt that he understands the game at both ends. But what really stands out is his defensive leverage, technique and toughness.

I was impressed because he seemed to get more and more comfortable. At first he was tentative but then got more and more sure of himself. It's hard to believe it's been this long and then here he is on the floor taking chances.

He was definitely fouled. And Kennedy was, in fact, shot.

It's the reason I haven't thought about what-ifs. I've really liked watching the guys come together. This is a new team. We have very professional people. You take the professionalism and the way they combined their personalities, and it's fun to watch.

And I think he found the right style here. We sold him hard on that.

Feeling the power and the explosiveness is going to take time.

He's got to be in there.
