OC played harder than us, battled harder than us in the batters box and we are just going to have to pick it up, learn a lesson from it and avoid getting ourselves in that kind of situation again.

We have a really young team with plenty of freshmen and sophomores. This team has been really fun because they play a high level of enthusiasm and focus. They seem to want to play at their highest level every game.

What they're doing is wonderful.

It's going to come down to who is on their game. Who is on on defense, who gets a couple of the key hits and who has their pitcher throwing well.

They shot the lights out in the first half. I think we played the same in both halves, but they were so hot. They are deep, good inside and outside and I think they've got a good chance to be there at the end.

The whole game was predicated on defense. Our defense is what we got our offense out of and our defense is what won the game for us.

I thought we missed a lot of shots that put us in a bind. We did not execute too well on offense, but I think our teamwork and the hustle were the difference in the game.

I used to do it myself, but it's not like it used to be. Every year there's something new, and it doesn't pay to get it fouled up.
