What is being proposed here is, for the most part, not good for rural Alberta.

They came up to that dividing line and said 'you know what? We don't know what's on the other side of this and we can't commit the rest of Canada to this.' That's my big concern. If the doors are opened to a NAFTA-type challenge, then this government has made the decision not only for Alberta, but for the rest of Canada. But the rest of Canada didn't get to participate in the discussion.
