We're both sticking to our core competency and that makes it a classic win-win situation for the students in our area.

I have a lot of confidence in our delegation. The good thing this year is there is money.

If you look at the university system today, USF has an average SAT entry of 1,120 to 1,150 with goals to increase that. Students are expected to come to school often with some of their initial courses already done.

The main issue we have for this legislative session is funding for staffing for our new facility. We're working hard with our delegation.

Just last year is the first time that housing costs lost us a few candidates. I think the thing that we'll have to do over time is to pay higher salaries; that's the only way to address it.
