I was praying it wouldn't go in. We missed free throws down the wire that we should have had and defensively we made some mistakes and they exploited them. I'm just glad to be where we're at. The girls have worked hard.

It's wide open. I don't think we're the favorite, but I think we have just as good of shot as anyone else, but they have just as good of shot as we do.

I thought there were times when we relaxed, but our defense really came through. We played very, very unselfish.

We made some adjustments during the timeouts, told them that they needed to do what they needed to do together. We've been stressing that the girls need to play as a team. No matter what happens on the floor, we want them to go as a team.

We have great teams in this league. Every game is a battle every night. I think basketball in Utah County has gone up a notch.

We're just happy to be in the final four. That's all we care about. We're going to go out and try to be smart, to make the right decisions.

I thought we played decent basketball. We saw the floor and passed the ball well. It was unselfish basketball that got us the win.

I was worried a little bit because it was senior night. We sometimes come out a little sluggish . . . I didn't think I'd have to pump them up too much to play tonight. The situation in and of itself did that.

My husband and I started dating when I started coaching in 1989, and he puts a card and a Snickers bar in my car. Even when he's out of town, he hides the card and Snickers bar somewhere in the house and then calls and tells me where it is.
