I have some pretty mixed feelings about ending my tenure here. I've had as enjoyable a life as anybody could have. Teaching and horses are my passion. Combining them makes me a lucky person.

They've never had a saddle on, or been worked with. We want students to experience that first.

Students do everything in taking care of these young horses. They are out here at 6 a.m., feeding, cleaning stalls, sweeping out the barns, and again at 5 p.m..
