"Lawrence Robert Bowa" (born December 6, 1945) is a former professional baseball shortstop, former manager, and coach in Major League Baseball. He played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets; manager (baseball)/managed the San Diego Padres and Phillies, and is currently the Phillies' bench coach.
