Storm water is a source of pollution, because there are pollutants in our environment that the storm water picks up.

Hopefully we got it soon enough to get it stopped.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the mine had already played out and several companies used it as a place to put hazardous waste materials.

The response is going well.

It's important that the community has its questions answered and its concerns addressed.

They're aware of the violations, they're aware we're following up on them and it looks like things are already starting to improve.

We each, in our very small ways multiplied by the millions of us are contributing to the overall pollution of our waters.

This would be one time to take it to a commercial car wash. That way, nobody has to handle it and the (dirty water) drains into the sanitary sewer system.
