It's pretty exciting for me, because I don't skate this race very often.

She's an amazing and tough competitor. It's always fun to watch her skate and to compete against her is just great.

It's a little nerve-racking watching the last couple of races go. All I could do was sit there and watch.

It's great for our team. It's great for Canada.

That was the best possible prep I could have done for this race. It was just good for my confidence.

We couldn't have asked for anything better. We both had such great races.

People haven't really picked me my whole career, so I'm kind of used to that. I'm not too concerned about what people think I can do. I'm more concerned about what I think I can do.

It's really exciting. Not just to win the silver medal, but also the fact that I skated my best possible race. That's almost more exciting.

It's going to be a full slate at the Olympics. The 1,000 hasn't been my priority this year but it's an event I've used a lot to help me in the longer distances. I've had good 1,000 races all year and I love the event because it's nice and short. You can just hammer the whole thing.
