When you're breaking 50 [seconds] in the 300 hurdles, you're doing well. When you break 50 in your first race, that's amazing.

She's the girl to beat in Pasco County. She's gotten stronger. She's maturing. She's still really young, but she's come a long way from last year.

We have hard workers and good attitudes. We have depth in all the events.

When she came out as a freshman you could tell she was going to be good and that she had a lot of potential. By her sophomore year she was a conference champion [in the 100 and 300 hurdles].

This was our fourth year (winning the meet). We had a number of individuals placing high in the events. When you can get one or two girls placing in every event, that adds up.

She knows this is it. Her goal has been to make it to states in both. She would have made it last year without that fall. This year it's just going to be her top priority to make it in both events to states.
